DescriptionThe whole story▼

On an Indian Scout Bobber the rear brake does a lot of the low-speed work: holding the bike at traffic lights, easing it into a parking space and adding stability in slow turns. Accossato lists this rear pad for the 2017 to 2024 Scout Bobber in its Organic (OR) compound, which the company says keeps performing over a long life and limits disc wear. It is a relaxed, quiet choice for urban and everyday riding.

Key Features

  • Organic (OR) rear pads for the Indian Scout Bobber, 2017 to 2024
  • Accossato cites lasting performance and gentle disc wear
  • Smooth pedal feel at walking pace
  • Suited to commuting, town riding and newer riders
  • Two pads per box for the rear caliper
  • Front pad AGPA92 offered for the same bike
  • For competition use in Germany

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes the organic compound as providing longer performance while keeping disc wear down. For a rear brake that sees a light but frequent workload, that combination fits well. The company's general pad claims also apply: slow wear, good stopping power and less fade because heat is limited. We do not describe materials, since Accossato does not publish them.

Low-Speed Control on the Bobber

The Scout Bobber's low seat lets riders put both feet down easily, but slow manoeuvres still depend on a smooth rear brake. An organic pad gives a gentle, progressive pedal that helps when trickling through traffic or making a tight U-turn. It also suits riders who are new to cruisers or come back to motorcycling after a break. If you often ride in rain or with a passenger, the ST pad is the alternative Accossato offers for the rear.

Keeping the Rear Brake Fresh

Check the rear pad thickness at each service and keep chain lube and cleaning spray away from the disc. Replace the pads before the friction material wears through, and bleed the rear brake when the fluid darkens. A clean rear caliper also keeps the Scout Bobber's pedal feel consistent year after year.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists rear pad AGPP91 for the Indian Scout Bobber between 2017 and 2024, the Scout 1200 Bobber in its application list. One box covers the rear caliper. The front uses AGPA92. When fitting, clean the pistons before pushing them back and pump the pedal until it is firm.

Road Approval

Without a test report or approval mark, we list this rear pad in Germany for racing and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Organic (OR) pads for the single rear caliper.
