DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some enduro days are decided by mud rather than speed. After a night of rain the first loop becomes a slog, and within an hour every rider's boots are caked in clay. On a Beta RR 390 4T the engine has enough pull to keep going through the mess, but a sole covered in mud slides about on the footpegs, and every slip unsettles the bike. For the RR 390 4T of 2020 to 2026, Accossato makes enlarged footpegs in Ergal, and you can have them in orange, blue or black.

Construction and Material Quality
The manufacturer calls the part enlarged footpegs made of Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy, and names motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles as their field. Accossato won an enduro world title in 1985, and enduro is still one of the uses it names for these pegs. The larger platform is the whole idea: a sole that is partly covered in clay still finds more metal to settle on. There are two pegs, one for each side of the RR 390 4T, and the colour is the only variant, orange, blue or black.
When the Mud Packs In
Mud builds up in layers. It collects on the sole, then on the peg itself and finally around the pivot, until the peg is a flat, slippery lump that no longer folds freely. Riders deal with it in small ways through the day. At a pause, knock the boots against each other or against a rock to clear the soles, and run a stick or a screwdriver around the pegs to scrape out the worst. On the move, some riders tap a boot against its peg as they stand up, to shake loose what has gathered.
The rest is technique. In deep mud a smooth throttle and a relaxed body keep the RR 390 4T moving, and standing gives the rider more ways to correct a slide than sitting does. No peg can keep mud away, but a larger platform leaves more to stand on when part of the sole is caked. After the ride, rinse the pegs and pivots, let them dry and put a little grease back on the pivot before the clay sets hard.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list names the RR 390 4T from 2020 to 2026, and we have entered the set for those years. There is no alternative Accossato footpeg for it, and the same pair is also listed for the RR 350 4T and the RR 480 4T. After fitting, make sure each peg folds and returns properly, check the gear lever position with your boots on, and look everything over again after the first muddy ride.
Road Approval
These footpegs come without an ABE or any other approval document that we could show you. They are therefore sold for competition.
