DescriptionThe whole story▼

Accossato's AGPA94 pad fits the front right caliper of the 2018 Suzuki SV650X. In the Sintered mixture it is meant for touring and all-weather riders: couples who travel two-up, owners who strap on soft bags for a week away and anyone who rides through autumn leaves and spring showers. The goal is a firm, dependable bite whatever the road surface and temperature.

Key Features

  • Front right pad AGPA94 for the SV650X model year 2018
  • Sintered compound, article AGPA94ST
  • High, even grip hot or cold, according to Accossato
  • Works on wet discs
  • Stable feel with a passenger and luggage
  • Matches AGPA95 Sintered on the left
  • One caliper set per box

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says its Sintered pads keep a high, constant level of grip at both high and low temperatures and bite well in wet conditions. That makes them independent of the season to a large degree. The firm, founded near Turin in 1969, also names low wear, fade resistance through limited heating and strong stopping power as general qualities of its pads.

Touring Two-Up in Autumn

A week of touring on a 2018 SV650X often includes damp mornings, fallen leaves on mountain roads and long descents with a passenger. The front brake has to handle extra mass and changing grip without asking the rider to adapt. With a sintered compound on both front calipers, the pressure point stays firm and consistent, which gives confidence when the road is slippery and the bike is heavy. Remember that this box covers only the right caliper; add AGPA95 Sintered for the left. If your riding is mostly dry and local, the plate is also made as OR, EV1, EV2 and ZXC. Check the brake fluid before a longer trip, as older fluid takes on moisture over time.

Fitment and Compatibility

For the 2018 SV 650 X, Accossato lists AGPA94 for the front right and AGPA95 for the front left. The 2019 to 2024 front uses AGPA75 instead, and AGPP185 covers the rear from 2018 to 2024. After fitting, pump the lever until the pistons are back against the pads.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or test certificate available to us for AGPA94ST. The pad is offered for motorsport and track use.
