Nearly two kilos off the back of a Transalp, and the exhaust keeps its papers. Spark's Force Evo slip-on is Euro 5+ approved, weighs half what the standard silencer does, and comes with a carbon heat shield rather than a stamped steel one.
Key Features
- Euro 5+ approved slip-on for the Honda XL750 Transalp, 2023 to 2026.
- Force Evo silencer in titanium with a carbon fibre end cap.
- Integrated carbon fibre heat shield.
- Stainless steel connecting pipe, standard mounting position.
- 2,0 kg against 3,9 kg standard — Spark states over 50 per cent lighter.
- No remapping or further modification required.
Half the Weight of the Standard Silencer
3,9 kg becomes 2,0. Spark's own phrasing is that the slip-on weighs over fifty per cent less than the original, and on a middleweight adventure bike that mass sits exactly where it is least welcome: high, behind the rider, and off to one side.
The Transalp is a light motorcycle to begin with, which is most of its appeal. Taking another two kilos off the tail is the sort of change you notice pushing it around a campsite rather than on a dyno.
Carbon Where It Matters
Two carbon parts, both structural rather than decorative. The end cap closes the titanium case and is the visible signature of the Force Evo range. The heat shield is integrated into the silencer rather than bolted over it, which is why the outline stays clean from the side.
Spark's own description leans on words like sophisticated and racing touch. Underneath the catalogue language the point is simpler: a carbon shield does the job of a steel one at a fraction of the weight and does not discolour the way painted steel does.
Euro 5+, and Nothing Else to Change
The approval is Euro 5+, the current standard, and Spark is explicit that the slip-on delivers its performance without any further modification to the motorcycle. No remap, no additional control unit, no lambda workaround.
For a bike that is bought to be ridden rather than fettled, that matters more than a headline power figure.
Standard Mounting
This one sits where Honda put the original, low and close to the swingarm, on a stainless connecting pipe. If you would rather have the silencer up and out of the way — the classic rally position — Spark's Dakar slip-on is the high-mount alternative: GHO2002TOM in titanium or GHO2002DOM in dark stainless, both at 797 euro.
Made in Italy
Spark builds in Mantova and says so on the product. The titanium case, the TIG work and the carbon parts all come out of the same factory, which is a rarer thing in this price bracket than the marketing suggests.
Fitment & Compatibility
Honda XL750 Transalp, 2023 to 2026, including the E-Clutch version. Spark lists no other machine for this part number.
Road Approval
EC type-approved to Euro 5+. Spark supplies the homologation certificate with the part; file it with the vehicle documents.
