Behind the retro styling, the Moto Guzzi Eldorado shares its strong transverse V-twin with the rest of the California 1400 family, and on a good country road it can be ridden with real verve. Owners who enjoy that side of the bike can choose Accossato's AGPA96 front pad in the EV1 street/track compound, article AGPA96EV1, catalogued for the Eldorado from 2015 to 2017. It offers more initial bite than a gentle cruising pad without becoming awkward for everyday rides.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato positions EV1 as a mixture with excellent grip for street riding and for amateur track use. On an Eldorado ridden briskly on a winding road, that translates into a more immediate response when the rider sets the speed before each corner. The maker's usual promises, long life, strong stopping and a pad that limits heat to avoid fade, apply as well. The EV1 friction material is bonded to the AGPA96 plate.
A Classic With Some Bite
The Eldorado's torque makes it satisfying to ride briskly, but its weight and the modest ground clearance of any cruiser mean that most of the work has to be done before the bend. Strong, predictable front brakes let the rider settle the speed quickly and then flow through the corner. A street and track pad adds some sharpness to that moment.
Brake upright and early, and let the engine help. Keep an eye on pad wear and fluid condition if you ride this way often, and look for any uneven wear that might point to a sticking piston.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato assigns AGPA96 to the front of the Moto Guzzi Eldorado, catalogued as Eldorado 1400, for model years 2015 to 2017. The partner pad at the rear is AGPA92 for the same years, and there is no Accossato disc for this model. Both front calipers need pads, so two boxes are required.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German approval certificate for AGPA96EV1. It is sold for racing and competition purposes.
