DescriptionThe whole story▼
Rain on the forecast? That is no reason to leave the bike in the garage. The XPD XP-Mode H2Out in black is built for riders who commute, tour, and explore regardless of the weather — a sport-styled men's motorcycle boot that keeps feet genuinely dry and comfortable mile after mile, thanks to its H2Out tubular waterproof membrane.
Key Features
- H2Out tubular membrane: waterproof and breathable in one construction, so moisture stays out without the clammy, airless feeling of a sealed boot
- Abrasion-resistant microfibre upper with ventilated zones for durability and airflow on longer rides
- Heat-resistant suede microfibre on the medial side for protection against engine and exhaust contact zones
- Dual-density high-grip vulcanised rubber sole with a diagonal heel design for a stable, controlled position on the footpeg in any weather
- Replaceable plastic toe slider extends the working life of the boot significantly
- Moulded ankle and calf armour plus internal TPU ankle protection deliver genuine road-focused impact protection
- Memory Foam soft polymer padding and a replaceable Ortholite footbed keep pressure points at bay on all-day rides
- Rear reflective insert improves visibility in low-light and night conditions
The H2Out Membrane in Everyday Use
XPD's H2Out membrane uses a tubular construction — wrapped around the foot rather than simply laminated to the upper. Rain and standing water are blocked from the outside, while perspiration vapour can escape more freely from within. During unpredictable weather, that balance matters: you arrive with dry feet rather than that familiar, slowly-dampening sensation that plagues lesser waterproof boots.
Grip and Control Whatever the Conditions
Wet urban stop-and-go, damp country roads, early-morning frost — the XP-Mode H2Out handles them with a dual-density vulcanised rubber sole shaped for motorcycle use. The diagonal heel geometry helps you lock your foot onto the footpeg securely, and the high-grip compound maintains traction across a wide range of road surfaces. A dedicated gear-change pad on the upper face of the toe box reinforces the area that takes the most wear from frequent shifting.
Protection Package
The XP-Mode H2Out combines road-appropriate protection with ergonomics that work on and off the bike:
- Injection-moulded external armour
- Moulded ankle and calf protectors
- Internal moulded TPU ankle guard
- Reinforced toe and heel zones
- Plastic gear-change pad protection
- Replaceable plastic toe slider
The result is a meaningful safety reserve for road riding without the stiffness or bulk of a dedicated track boot.
Comfort Over the Long Haul
Riding in wet conditions is tiring enough without the boot adding to it. XPD addresses this with a layered comfort system:
- Soft polymer padding with Memory Foam reduces hot spots and shapes itself to the foot over time
- Ortholite footbed: ergonomic, breathable, lightweight, and long-lasting in its cushioning — and fully replaceable when worn
- D.F.A. nylon insole: rigid enough to support a sport riding posture, shaped for all-day wearability
