Progressive springs change rate through the stroke and suit short-travel machines.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 14725-01

Original Öhlins service part

Function

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height. A settled spring lowers the machine without anyone changing a setting.

Original Öhlins Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 14725-01. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Springs are a service part: they age, they settle, and replacing them restores the geometry. Free length and inner diameter decide whether a spring fits; the rate decides whether it suits.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 14725-01

Category: Springs

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/14725-01_f8d29bdc-9c9b-4125-8069-95f5d506a46d.png?v=1788875888
