DescriptionThe whole story▼

A CFMOTO NK 800 is usually bought as a naked roadster with room to grow into, and most of them spend their first seasons doing very ordinary things: a run into town, a Sunday loop, an evening ride that ends before dark. On those journeys the front brake is asked for small, frequent squeezes rather than heroics. Accossato lists the AGPA96 plate for the front wheel of the NK 800 from 2024 to 2026, and the Organic version, article AGPA96OR, is the one the company ties to a long working life and to easy treatment of the disc it runs against.

Key Features

  • Front brake pads for the CFMOTO NK 800, model years 2024 to 2026
  • Article AGPA96OR: the AGPA96 shape in the Organic friction material
  • Accossato links this material to a long service life and restrained disc wear
  • A box holds two pads, the set a single caliper needs
  • Count the calipers on the front wheel of your own NK 800 before you order
  • The same shape is also pressed in ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
  • Rear pads for this machine: the AGPA29, listed 2024 to 2026
  • No German ABE has reached us; sold for racing and competition

Construction and Material Quality

All AGPA96 pads share one outline; what changes from article to article is the friction layer pressed onto the steel behind it. Accossato describes the Organic mixture in two claims that matter to an owner. It is meant to go on working over a long stretch of riding rather than thin out inside a single season, and it is meant to leave the disc it rubs against in reasonable shape while doing so. On a naked roadster like the NK 800 both of those belong to the running costs rather than to lap times.

Looking After the Disc Behind Them

A pad is the cheap half of a front brake. The disc is the expensive half, and it thins in a way nobody notices until a workshop holds a gauge against it and reads a figure that is no longer inside tolerance. Riders who intend to keep an NK 800 for several seasons tend to think in those terms: fresh material at the front two or three times over, with the same discs still turning underneath.

Looking after them is mostly routine. Renew both sides of the axle in one go, so the caliper closes onto faces of the same age; wipe each piston before it is pushed back into its bore, so no grit travels into the seal; and keep spray lubricant off the disc faces when the bike gets its wash. Once the wheel is back in, work the lever until the travel shortens and firms up, then spend the first few junctions making deliberate, moderate stops so the new surface beds in evenly across its width.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato puts the AGPA96 on the front wheel of the NK 800 for 2024, 2025 and 2026. A machine built outside that window, or another model from the same family, needs its own lookup rather than the assumption that one shape carries over. There is a second front article in the catalogue for this bike, the AGPA106, listed only for the 2024 season, so compare the pad in your caliper with the picture before ordering. At the back Accossato names the AGPA29 across the same three seasons, where the single rear caliper takes one box.

Road Approval

No test paperwork and no German ABE have reached us for the AGPA96OR. That is why these pads are catalogued as parts for racing and competition rather than as equipment for public roads.

Scope of Delivery

One box containing two AGPA96 pads in the Organic material, together the set that a single caliper takes.
