DescriptionThe whole story▼
Motocross tracks change character from one week to the next as ruts form and berms get reshaped, and some riders adjust gearing on the TC 125 to suit whichever layout is in front of them that weekend. Accossato's RCM1, listed for the TC 125 built in 2014 and 2015, carries a built-in adjusting screw at each end of the swingarm that makes resetting chain tension after a gearing change a quick, repeatable job.
Key Features
- Rear axle blocks for the Husqvarna TC 125, 2014 and 2015
- Accossato code RCM1, fitted at each end of the swingarm
- Built-in adjusting screw for setting chain tension
- Available in orange, black or silver
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna TC 250, the Husqvarna FE 250 and the Husqvarna TE 125
- Accossato also offers a chain guide, a swingarm slider and the screw-free version of this block for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the RCM1 to the TC 125's own axle diameter and swingarm slot, with the adjusting screw built into the block itself. Orange, black and silver make no difference to how the block sets the wheel's position, only to how it looks. A block whose screw no longer turns smoothly, or whose face shows a deep mark from an impact, should be checked closely before the next session rather than forced.
Chasing the Right Gearing for Each Track
Swapping a sprocket between a tight, twisty track and a wide-open one with long straights is common practice on a 125, since the engine needs to be kept in its narrow power band however the layout is laid out that weekend. Each change in sprocket size shifts how much chain slack is needed, and the RCM1's built-in screw lets that be set again in small, even steps on both sides rather than guessing the distance by eye. Doing this evenly matters more than it might seem, since a wheel pulled back further on one side than the other leaves the bike feeling subtly off-centre under power, a fault that is far easier to avoid at setup than to diagnose once out on track. Riders who change gearing often between tracks tend to value the built-in screw most, simply because they are doing this job more often than most.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the RCM1, Accossato's list is limited to the TC 125 built in 2014 and 2015 only. That same screw-equipped pair also covers the TC 250, the FE 250 and the TE 125, all built on this swingarm. An owner who prefers the stock, no-screw method can switch to the RTM1 without any change in fitment, since both bolt into the identical slot. Either way, the TC 125's own build year is worth checking against Accossato's list before ordering.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the RCM1, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
