DescriptionThe whole story▼
Race day starts the evening before. For most club racers that means a garage or a driveway, a work light and a Husqvarna FC 350 on its stand, with a list of jobs to finish before the van is loaded. Air filter, chain, tyre pressures, spokes and levers come first for many riders. The footpegs are easily forgotten, although the boots will rest on them for every lap of every moto. Accossato makes enlarged footpegs in Ergal for the FC 350 of 2023 to 2026, in orange, blue or black.
Key Features
- Enlarged Accossato footpegs for the Husqvarna FC 350, model years 2023 to 2026
- Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy
- Wider standing surface for every lap of a moto
- Designed for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles
- Choice of orange, blue or black
- One pair, left and right
- Earlier FC 350 generations use other Accossato sets
- No ABE documented; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
The company behind these pegs started out in 1969 in Moncalieri, near Turin. Its description of the part is brief: enlarged footpegs, made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road bikes. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy, and the enlarged shape gives the boot a more generous surface than a smaller peg. You receive two pegs, one for the left and one for the right, in the colour you select from orange, blue and black. Accossato publishes no further technical detail for the part, and we do not invent any.
A Checklist for the Evening Before
A good pre-race routine follows the same order every time, so that nothing is missed when the rider is tired or in a hurry. Many mechanics start at the front wheel and work their way back: axle and pinch bolts, brake pads and fluid, bars and levers, then the engine, the chain and the rear wheel. On the FC 350 the footpegs belong on that list too. Fold each one up by hand and let go; it should snap back without hesitation. Look for dried mud packed into the pivot and for a spring that has lost its tension.
If the pegs are new, the evening before is also the time to fit them calmly rather than in the paddock. Check the original pins and springs and use them again if they are in good condition, clean the pivot and give it a thin film of grease. Then sit on the FC 350 in riding boots and see whether the gear lever and the rear brake pedal still fall naturally under the foot, since a larger peg can change how the boot meets both. Time spent on this at home saves a lot of fumbling at the start gate.
Fitment and Compatibility
The FR809 is Accossato's footpeg set for the current FC 350, model years 2023 to 2026. The list also holds two older sets for this bike: the FR795 for 2014 and 2015, and the FR798 for 2016 to 2022. Each is tied to its own model years, so check the year in your papers, compare the photos and colour options, and ask us when in doubt. The same pair appears in our shop for the Husqvarna FE 350, the Husqvarna TX 125 and the KTM 125 SX.
Road Approval
We do not hold an ABE or any other approval for these pegs, which is why we offer them for use in competition.
