Spark's newest World Supersport system for the Triumph triple. The GTR8828T carries the Konix Evo silencer and replaces the earlier GTR8817T at the same list price — the current specification of a system that has been developed continuously since the 765 entered Moto2.
Key Features
- WSSP600 full system for the Triumph Street Triple 765 R, RS and S, 2020 to 2026.
- Konix Evo silencer: all-titanium case with a carbon fibre end cap.
- Spark's current WSSP600 specification.
- Matched by the GTR8828ST titanium link pipe group.
- Same list price as the earlier GTR8817T and GTR8823T systems.
- Racing use only.
Which Generation Is Which
Spark keeps more than one WSSP600 system in the catalogue at once, and the part numbers are the only reliable guide. GTR8817T and GTR8823T are the established systems, built on the stainless GTR8817 collector with a titanium link pipe. GTR8828T is the newer specification.
The matching link pipe group is GTR8828ST, which Spark lists as fitting only the GTR8815 or GTR8817 collector. If you already run one of those collectors, that group is how you move to this specification without replacing the front of the system.
What Spark Publishes, and What It Does Not
Spark's product page for this system gives the configuration — full system, WSSP600, Konix Evo silencer, titanium — and no weight or sound figure. We are not going to borrow the numbers from the earlier systems and present them as this one's.
What can be said with confidence: the Konix Evo is the case Spark supplies to SuperSport 600 World Championship teams, with a titanium body and a carbon fibre end cap, and it takes the G9999 dB killer. If you need a measured weight or decibel figure for this exact part number before ordering, ask us and we will request it from Spark.
Buying the Current Specification
At an identical list price to the systems it follows, there is little argument for choosing an older number unless a specific silencer decides it — GTR8823T is the Force Evo version, developed with the phonometric limits of European circuits in mind.
For a Konix Evo system, this is the one Spark is building now.
The Konix Evo Case
The silencer is built entirely in titanium — not only the outer sleeve but the perforated inner tube and the inner end cap as well, parts nobody sees and most manufacturers make in stainless. The carbon fibre end cap was drawn with a design studio in Maranello.
It is the case Spark reaches for when a system has to look finished rather than fabricated, and on a World Supersport replica that matters: the silencer is the only part of the exhaust a spectator ever sees.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Street Triple 765 R, RS and S, 2020 through 2026. The earlier Konix Evo system is GTR8817T; the Force Evo version is GTR8823T. The matching link pipe group is GTR8828ST, the Force Evo alternative GTR8827ST. Collectors: GTR8817 in stainless, GTR8815 in full titanium.
Road Approval
None. The system carries no EC certificate and no catalytic converter. Closed circuits only.
