Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 00678-01

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece. Availability of individual parts is one reason Öhlins units stay in service for decades. Replacement parts come from the same production as the components they go into.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Getting the Number Right

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 00678-01 in this case. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. An original Öhlins service part, listed under its own number in the Öhlins spare parts catalogue.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00678-01

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00678-01_f9532251-5dca-4a28-8747-5bc78f447fa7.png?v=1788870151
