The RSV4 RF was the higher of the two 2015 variants. The JP PD AP009 replaces its right-hand switch block with machined Ergal.

The Split Into RR and RF
Aprilia divided the range in 2015: the RR on Sachs suspension and the RF on Öhlins, with forged wheels and a limited Superpole livery. Mechanically they share an engine and a frame and differ in everything you sit on.
Variable Intake Trumpets
The V4 changes its intake tract length as revs rise, which broadens the torque curve without costing peak power. It is a technology that was banned in Formula One and remains rare on production motorcycles.
Two Hundred and One Horsepower
By the end of this generation the engine made 201 hp at 13.000 rpm from 999.6 cc. Aprilia had been extracting more from the same displacement for six years without enlarging it, which was unusual restraint.
A Universal Clamp
The hole pattern fits the original master cylinder and the radial replacements. An RF is exactly the sort of motorcycle whose owner has already changed the brake lever assembly, so a switch that ignores the question is useful.
Cut, Not Moulded
A single billet of Ergal 7075 with the switch elements sealed inside. The original is injection moulded in two halves and the joint between them is where water eventually finds the contacts.
Three Anodised Colours
Black, red and titanium, converted into the surface rather than applied over it. The Superpole livery carries black and red, so two of the three continue what is already on the fairing.
Plug and Play
The unit terminates in the motorcycle's own connector. There is no adapter, no splice and nothing to configure once the old block has come off the bar.
