The JP ACC KT016 fits the 890 Adventure L in place of the moulded throttle unit and reaches wide open in sixty degrees of rotation rather than the factory's more generous sweep.

The Restricted Version
KTM offered a reduced output variant for riders on an intermediate licence, mechanically identical at the bars and identical in what the throttle assembly has to do.
What Is in the Box
The throttle assembly itself. Grips, bar ends and switchgear are the rider's own and carry over from the standard unit.
Water
The assembly lives outdoors and is built for that. Nothing about the change makes the switchgear or the connector any more exposed than it was.
Winter Gloves
Thick gloves eat rotation. A shorter sweep means the same hand position works in January that worked in July.
Half an Hour Plus the Appointment
The mechanical work is short. What takes the planning is the diagnostic session that has to follow it before the bike is ridden.
A Third of a Turn Saved
Where a standard assembly asks the hand to travel most of a rotation, this one is done in sixty degrees. The saving is felt at the top of the movement rather than at the bottom.
What the Manufacturer Claims
The response and sensitivity of a cable throttle with a reduced rotation angle. It is a modest claim and it matches what the part actually does.
No Universal Version
Clamp geometry, sensor housing, connector and internal profile all differ between machines, and the rotation has to end where that model's electronics expect wide open. That is why the catalogue lists a number per motorcycle rather than a size per handlebar.
Bar End Mirrors
Where mirrors thread into the tube rather than clamping to the bar, the new assembly has to accept the same fitting. It is the one accessory genuinely worth confirming before ordering, because it carries a load a plain weight does not.
