The JP CJP 132C is the programmable fuel controller for the Ninja 250SL: a full map with every cell empty, waiting for somebody with software and a wideband sensor.

A Single, Not a Twin
The SL uses a 249 cc single in a much lighter chassis. It is a completely different motorcycle from the twin that shares its name.
A Dyno Is Not Compulsory
Plenty of owners map on a road with a wideband and a logger. A dyno makes it faster and repeatable, and it is the difference between a good map and a defensible one.
Mounting the Unit
Under the seat or beneath the tank, secured and dry, with the USB connection reachable without dismantling half the motorcycle. That last point is worth thinking about before the cable ties go on.
A Surface, Not a Line
A fixed curve corrects along one dimension. A map corrects across two, which is what makes it possible to richen full load without touching the cruise cells.
Fitting Is the Easy Part
Connectors, a mounting position and a cable tie. Twenty minutes to an hour depending on the model, and then the actual work starts.
Measure or Guess
There is no third option. A wideband sensor turns mapping into engineering; without one it is an expensive way to develop opinions about an engine.
Not a Power Product
The output figure barely moves. What changes is that the engine delivers what it has cleanly everywhere, which is worth more on a road than a number on a sheet.
Who Should Buy It
An owner with a modified engine, a wideband sensor and some appetite for methodical work. That is a smaller group than the catalogue suggests and it is the honest answer.
The Cost of the Whole Setup
The unit, a wideband sensor and a bung welded into the exhaust. Together they cost less than a decent silencer, and without the sensor the unit is an ornament with a USB socket.
