Carbon Frame, Carbon Wheels
BMW built seven hundred and fifty of them with a full carbon chassis and a race-kit engine. It is the most extreme motorcycle the factory has ever sold to the public.
Interpolation Between Cells
The unit does not jump from one value to the next. It blends between neighbouring cells, which is why a smooth map produces a smooth engine and a spiky one does not.
Resolution Matters
A map with too few cells forces the unit to interpolate across large gaps, and the engine feels it. Enough resolution is what makes small, local corrections possible at all.
Between the Loom and the Injectors
Electrically this sits where the preset module sits and does the same physical job. The difference is entirely in who decides the numbers and how many of them there are.
Honest About the Effort
This unit does nothing on its own. Bought with a plan it produces a motorcycle that fuels correctly everywhere; bought on impulse it produces an expensive passenger.

Surging between operating points, a flat spot that moves rather than disappears, and an engine that behaves differently on two identical corners.

Electronics on a motorcycle fail from shaking rather than from getting wet. A body secured flat against a surface outlives one hanging on its own harness.

An engine that pulls cleanly from anywhere, holds a steady speed without hunting and answers the throttle the same way on every corner exit.
The Wideband Bung
Most aftermarket exhausts have a spare boss or can take one welded in. Planning that before the exhaust is fitted saves taking it off again, which is the sort of thing nobody thinks about in advance.
