The JP ES KIT19 removes secondary air from the SuperSport 939 S properly: the controller finds what it expects and the cylinder head is closed with aluminium rather than plastic.

Why the System Exists
Emissions legislation counts what leaves the pipe, and injecting fresh air into a hot exhaust port burns leftover hydrocarbons after combustion. It is a measurement strategy rather than an engine improvement.

Not a Performance Modification
No power, no throttle response and no consumption change. Anybody expecting the motorcycle to feel different afterwards has misunderstood what the system was doing.
Type Approval
In markets where the secondary air system forms part of the motorcycle's approval, its removal takes the machine out of road specification until the parts return. That is local law rather than engineering, and the reversibility of the kit is precisely what makes complying with it straightforward.
The Order That Works
Electrical half first while the airbox is out and access is best, then the covers on the heads, then the intake fitting, then reassembly. Doing it the other way round means reaching past a fitted cover to get at a connector, which is possible and unnecessary.
