The JP ES KIT11 deletes the earlier S1000RR's secondary air system mechanically, with both halves supplied together.

Both Ends of the Hose
The port in the airbox and the housings on the cylinder head. One kit accounts for the whole path rather than half of it.
Half a Job Leaves a Hole
Cap the head and the airbox is still open. Plug the airbox and the head still admits air. Neither is a deletion on its own.
Which Generation
This kit covers the RR before the 2019 redesign. ShiftCam changed the head arrangement and the later bikes take a different set.

The 2009 S1000RR arrived with Race ABS and traction control as standard at a price nobody could match. The whole segment moved within two years.

Unmetered air after combustion makes gas analysis worthless, and any mapping decision made from it inherits the error.

BMW's own positions and torque figures throughout, with nothing drilled in the head or the airbox.
Reversible
Keep the housings and the hose and the motorcycle returns to standard in the same two hours.
Homologation
Where the system forms part of the approval, removing it ends road legality.
Race ABS as Standard
In 2009 that was close to unheard of on a superbike at any price, and BMW fitted it alongside traction control while undercutting the established manufacturers. The whole class had to answer within two model years.
