The JP MJ 001 addresses the Dyna Wide Glide Fxdwg's hesitation off a closed throttle, which is the transition every injection system finds hardest and every rider notices.

Raked Out at the Front
Wide fork legs, a twenty-one inch wheel and a considerable amount of trail. The Wide Glide is a styling exercise that happens to work.
Cold Starting Is Untouched
Warm-up enrichment is a function of the standard controller and the module does not interfere with it. A motorcycle that started badly before will start exactly as badly afterwards, because that is a different problem entirely.
The Original Controller Stays in Charge
Ignition timing, the rev limiter, traction control, the riding modes and every safety strategy remain exactly where they were. The module has no access to any of it and no interest in it.
No Software to Learn
It is worth repeating because it is unusual: this product has no user interface at all. It is plugged in and then it is forgotten about, which is why it suits owners who are not looking for a project.
The Alternative Costs More
A specialist remap with dyno time is several times the price and is written into the original controller. It can achieve more; it is also considerably harder to reverse.
Working With the Sensor
The oxygen sensor loop keeps trimming where it trims. The module adds its correction to that result rather than replacing it, which is why nothing conflicts and nothing is reported.
The Airbox Lid
Owners sometimes drill or remove it hoping for the same result. That changes airflow without changing fuel and generally makes the mixture problem worse rather than better.
Vibration Is the Real Enemy
Electronics on a motorcycle fail from being shaken rather than from being wet. A body secured properly against a flat surface outlives one hanging on its own cable by years.
