The JP ESR 013 exists because the Panigale 1299 S's controller checks the front suspension motor before every ride and treats an empty connector as a failure.

What the Eliminator Presents
A resistance and, where the model needs it, a signal path that answers the controller's health check with values consistent with a working unit. Nothing is intercepted and nothing is generated.
The Limp Mode Problem
A suspension fault does not only light the panel. On several models the controller withholds riding modes and drops the electronics to a default state, which is not what anybody wants at a circuit.
Keep the Standard Legs
They are worth more assembled than in pieces, and having them is what makes a later sale or a return to standard specification a straightforward conversation.
Ducati's Own Connector
The eliminator uses it rather than a generic housing, which is why it seats, locks and seals exactly as the harness expects.
Not a Handling Improvement
The eliminator does nothing for the way the motorcycle rides. The conversion does that, and this part exists only so the conversion leaves no warning behind.
Sealed as a Unit
Suspension connectors live in the worst part of the motorcycle for water and salt, so everything inside the eliminator is potted rather than crimped.
Keeping the Original Legs
A complete set of electronic fork legs or a working electronic shock holds real value, and holds it far better assembled than in pieces. They are also what a buyer will ask about, because putting the motorcycle back to standard is expensive if they have gone.
