A Deliberate Modification
Nobody fits a quick-action throttle to a sports tourer by accident. The owners who do are riding the bike hard on roads that reward it.
The Mounting the Kit Takes
The original switch block generally loses its place during the conversion. This unit provides a new one and orders the controls for a rider working them constantly.

The number in the Testastretta 11 name refers to how much less the valves overlap than on the superbike engine it descends from. That single change is what turned a racing motor into something that idles through a village without protest.
Twenty Litres and a Real Range
Ducati gave the SuperSport a tank worth having, which on a motorcycle bought for covering ground decides whether the ride is planned around fuel stops or around roads. It sounds prosaic and it is the difference between using the bike and admiring it.

Ducati kept a conventional steel frame here while its flagships had gone frameless entirely. At the speeds this bike is actually ridden, the feedback that produces is worth more than the rigidity it gives up.
