The first RSV4 Factory of 2009 is now a bike that some owners keep rather than ride hard. It marked Aprilia's return to superbike racing with a V4, and early examples in unmodified condition are increasingly left just as they are. On a bike like that, a broken clutch lever raises a question: fit an aftermarket part or keep the original look? Accossato's AGS01 answers the second way. It is a silver clutch lever in original shape, listed for the RSV4 Factory in several periods between 2009 and 2024.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato groups the AGS01 among its original spare parts types: the lever takes the form of the one Aprilia fitted, which is what an owner who cares about an unaltered cockpit wants. The company developed it to be good value. It further claims that its manufacturing process gives the lever greater resistance after damage or a fall. It is finished in silver. We will not add anything the manufacturer does not state; the AGS01 is meant to restore the standard shape of an RSV4 Factory's clutch lever, and that is all we claim for it.
Keeping a Factory as It Was
Owners who keep an early RSV4 Factory original tend to document everything: the service history, which parts were renewed and when, and where each replacement came from. A clutch lever belongs in that file too. Note the date, the part code and the reason for the change, and keep the broken original if it came off in one piece, as it is part of the bike's story. Fitting the new lever is straightforward. Clean the pivot bolt and its bore, grease them lightly and set the free play according to the handbook. Then check that the clutch switch still does its job, since the start interlock depends on it. On a bike that is rarely ridden, pulling the clutch a few times whenever you start the engine keeps the pivot moving freely.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGS01 for three periods of the RSV4 Factory: the first bikes of 2009 and 2010, the Factory APRC with ABS of 2013 and 2014, and the Factory with ABS from 2021 to 2024, including the SE of 2024. Under this name there are no entries for 2011, 2012 or 2015 to 2020; Accossato lists some of those years under the RSV4 and the RSV4 RF. The same lever is catalogued at Inter-Pace for the RS 660 as well, and Accossato's CNC clutch lever ESV004 is available if you would rather change the shape.
Road Approval
We have no test certificate or ABE for the AGS01. It is sold for use on race tracks and in competition.
