DescriptionThe whole story▼
The 250XCF-W is the closely related sibling to the 250XC-F, both built as cross-country four-strokes rather than motocross machines, and Accossato supplies the identical clutch hose for both across 2009 to 2016. The part is a single braided line in the C layout, offered only in stainless steel fittings, with no painted option.
Key Features
- Single braided clutch hose for the 2009–2016 250XCF-W
- Clutch C-layout routing, matching the original line
- Stainless steel fittings only for this part
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Shared only with the closely related 250XC-F
Construction and Material Quality
This clutch line is stainless aeronautical braid finished with a stainless steel fitting at each end; there is no painted-fitting choice here, leaving the twenty sheath colours as the only way to vary its appearance. Fitting it involves just the one connection between the clutch master cylinder and the slave unit.
Two Cross-Country Variants, One Clutch Hose
Accossato does not distinguish between the 250XC-F and the 250XCF-W for this clutch fitment; both variants of KTM's cross-country four-stroke take the same part number across the identical 2009–2016 window. Neither bike shares this particular code with any motocross or enduro model, keeping the fitment limited to these two closely related machines alone. As with its XC-F sibling, no brake-kit equivalent sits under this same code; only the clutch circuit is covered for the XCF-W under this particular part number. The same caution applies to the XCF-W as to its XC-F sibling: brake hoses are sourced elsewhere, since this code only ever covers the clutch line. A workshop fitting this hose deals with just the one connection at the slave cylinder and another at the clutch master cylinder, nothing more.
Fitment and Compatibility
Across the same 2009–2016 span, the 250XCF-W draws on this clutch hose too, the identical part Accossato lists for its 250XC-F sibling. No third model, from KTM or elsewhere, joins either of them on this code.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Clutch layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
