DescriptionThe whole story▼
The front mudguard is usually the first body panel on a Multistrada to look its age. It leads the bike into everything the road throws forward, and after three or four seasons the evidence is all along its leading edge.
Key Features
- Full-length front mudguard, original geometry
- 200 Plain weave, clear coat, matt, satin or raw
- Autoclave-cured, around 495 grams
- Original fork slider brackets, original clearance
- Carried over unchanged from the 1200 generation
Look at Yours Before You Order
Stone chips on a painted guard start as pinpricks and spread from the edge inward as water gets under the finish. On a 1260 that has done real distance, the front guard and the belly pan are usually the two panels where that has begun.
It is worth knowing whether you are replacing a tired part or upgrading a good one, because the answer changes which finish makes sense. Raw carbon on a leading edge that will keep taking chips looks different after a year than clear coat does.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Multistrada 1260, model years 2018 to 2020, with the original fork and mudguard brackets.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. A like-for-like guard on original mounts is the simple case, but the paperwork stays yours.
Fitting
Four fasteners, started by hand, original spacers back in. Measure the clearance with the fork compressed, not on the stand, and measure again if the bike runs anything other than the standard tyre.
