DescriptionThe whole story▼

Club enduro series often run from autumn into spring, and competitors on a Sherco SEF 250 face fog, frost, wet leaves and muddy forest loops. Accossato lists front pad AGPA29 for the SEF 250 built from 2014 to 2019, catalogued as SE 250 F, and the Sintered version of this pad is built for consistency. It aims to give the same lever feel whether the morning starts at freezing point or the afternoon turns warm and dry.

Key Features

  • Front pad AGPA29 for Sherco SEF 250, 2014 to 2019
  • Sintered mixture, article number AGPA29ST
  • Accossato: high, constant grip at high and low temperatures
  • Good response in wet, cold conditions
  • Predictable lever through a long event day
  • Suited to winter club series
  • Also made as OR, STMX and EV1

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says the Sintered compound keeps grip high and constant across hot and cold temperatures and works well in the wet. For a winter enduro on an SEF 250, those properties answer the biggest worries: a cold, wet disc in the first test and a hot one in the last. Accossato also cites low wear, controlled heat and fade, and strong stopping.

Winter Club Enduro

A winter event starts early. The bike has spent the night in a van, the forest is wet, and the first special test begins before the sun is up. On the first descent the front brake has to work at once, not after a few warm-up stops.

A sintered compound responds well in cold, damp conditions and keeps a similar feel as the day warms. That consistency helps the rider build confidence from the first test to the last, which matters in a series decided over many rounds.

Between tests, check the caliper for packed leaves and mud, and keep a cloth handy to wipe the lever and the master cylinder cap clean.

Fitment and Compatibility

Model years 2014 to 2019 of the SEF 250 are covered, which Accossato records as the SE 250 F; its back wheel uses AGPP80. Change both pads of the front caliper at the same time, check that the brake fluid is still clear, and use a dry section to bed the new set in with some progressively firmer stops.

Road Approval

No ABE or German test certificate for this pad exists in our files. It is sold for competition use.

Scope of Delivery
