DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki DL800 V-Strom brought a new parallel-twin generation to the V-Strom family, and many owners use it as a comfortable everyday bike. AGPA72 in the Organic (OR) mixture is Accossato's front pad for the DL800 V-Strom from 2023 to 2024. It is designed for riders who commute, use the bike in the city and prefer a quiet, predictable front brake that also treats the discs gently.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Suzuki DL800 V-Strom, 2023 to 2024
  • Organic compound, SKU AGPA72OR
  • Long working life and low disc wear, says Accossato
  • For commuting and short trips
  • Responds well from cold
  • Rear set listed: AGPP88
  • Sintered, EV1 and EV2 also made on this plate
  • No ABE with us; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes the Organic mixture as long-lasting and gentle with the disc. For a new V-Strom 800 used daily, that means fewer worries about scoring on the discs and a brake that stays quiet. The company also claims good stopping force and moderate temperatures that help against fade.

Everyday Use on the V-Strom 800

On the commute, the DL800 V-Strom is ridden at moderate speeds with frequent stops. The brakes rarely get hot, and an organic pad is well suited to that kind of work because it gives good response without needing heat. It is also a sensible choice for riders new to the bike who want a progressive lever feel while they get used to its tall seat and weight. Wash off road dirt regularly, keep the discs free of grease and check the pads at every service. Organic pads wear steadily, so plan a replacement before the material gets thin. After fitting, pump the lever until it feels firm, then make a few gentle stops in a quiet street so the new pads can settle against the discs before you rely on them in heavy traffic.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA72 for the DL 800 V-Strom from 2023 to 2024. Check how many front calipers your bike has, because each one needs its own box. The rear caliper takes AGPP88. Other compounds on this front plate are the Sintered, EV1 and EV2 mixtures. Only the years named here are listed; for later model years, check the fitment before ordering.

Road Approval

No ABE or German test certificate for AGPA72OR is on file with us. It is supplied for racing and track use.
