Ducati's XDiavel arrived for 2016 as the company's take on the cruiser: footrests set forward, a long wheelbase and a belt driving the rear wheel, all powered by the Testastretta DVT twin with its variable valve timing. Ducati owners' gatherings, many of them held at circuits, draw XDiavel riders alongside the superbikes and the naked bikes, and those weekends have their own refuelling habits. Accossato's FC105 is the cap listed for the XDiavel from 2016 to 2023: aluminium, cut on CNC machines, and closed by a quick-release pawl with a coloured pin.

Construction and Material Quality
The FC105 is machined on CNC equipment from aluminium throughout, and Accossato describes it as robust and made to last, with a design that is new. What you handle is the quick-closing pawl: it opens the tank of the XDiavel quickly and closes it just as fast, which matters when several bikes are waiting for the same fuel can. The pawl also carries the colour, a pin in one of six shades. If that pawl is ever damaged, a single replacement can be ordered from Accossato and the cap stays in use.
An Owners' Weekend at the Circuit
Owners' gatherings at a circuit are sociable and crowded. Hundreds of bikes fill the paddock, the track sessions are often grouped by model or by pace, and there are long pauses in between. That is exactly when refuelling mistakes happen: a can passed from hand to hand, a cap left open while someone comes over to talk, a bike topped up between rows of parked machines. Give the job its own moment. Wheel the XDiavel to a quiet corner, or to the refuelling area if the organisers have marked one, switch off and let the engine settle before you open the pawl. Pour steadily, close the cap straight away and look at it once more before you walk off, because a friendly conversation is the easiest way to forget whether it is shut. Keep the can closed and in the shade, well away from the barbecues and generators such weekends tend to bring, and never refuel while anyone nearby is smoking.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the FC105 for the XDiavel in a long series of entries between 2016 and 2023, covering the standard bike, the S, the Black Star and versions marked Sport Pack. The XDiavel Dark appears under its own name and has a separate product page with us. For the S of 2017, Accossato's list also names a second cap, the FC135, so owners of that bike should ask us which one to order. Beyond the XDiavel, we list the FC105 for the Diavel and the DesertX, among other Ducatis.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE and no expert report for the FC105, which is why we supply it for the track. The XDiavel's factory cap normally locks with the ignition key, and for public roads that cap belongs on the tank.
