Sprint Filter lists a single element, PM270S, for four different CFMOTO models, and the SR-S 450 is one of them. That is not a coincidence of measurements. The 450 range shares an airbox, so a panel cut for one of these machines fits the rest, however different they look with their bodywork on. Worth knowing before ordering, because the name on the tank is the least reliable way to identify an air filter.

Order by element, not by badge

Which cloth belongs in the box

Sprint Filter makes more than one medium for the same opening, and they do not form a ladder. The P08 works at 80 microns and is rated at 5,050 l/m²/sec; the finer cloths hold back more and pass less air, because those two properties always pull against each other. No medium escapes that trade. Standing water and dust country are what the other options exist for, while a machine used on ordinary roads with the occasional track session is the case the P08 was drawn for. None of them, to be plain, adds meaningful power to a standard SR-S 450. The P08's argument is a restriction that a cleaning puts back where it started.

Care and cleaning

Blow the element through from the clean side towards the dirty one, so that what the weave caught travels out the way it entered instead of being driven deeper in. That is enough for most services. Heavier deposits come away under lukewarm water with a trace of mild detergent, rinsed out thoroughly. Drying happens in air alone, never against a heater or a flame, and the panel returns to the box dry, with nothing applied to it.
