DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Diavel V4 carries an oil cooler low and forward, where the front wheel throws everything it picks up. This cover puts carbon along its exposed frame without closing the core — protection at the edge, airflow through the middle.

Key Features

  • Covers the exposed frame of the oil cooler while leaving the core open to airflow
  • Four configurations in 200 Plain: clear coat, matt, satin and raw
  • Protects the outer rows of fins, which are the ones a stone reaches first
  • Moulded to the original shape, so nothing about oil temperature changes
  • Uses the original mounting points and fasteners

Oil Temperature on a V4 in Traffic

The V4 Granturismo runs an oil cooler separate from its main radiator because a 1158 cc four with this state of tune puts real heat into its lubricant, and the Diavel packages that engine into a chassis with limited airflow at walking pace. Anything fitted near that cooler deserves a straight answer about whether it restricts it.

It does not. The carbon follows the outer frame of the cooler and the matrix behind it is untouched, so the air path is the one Ducati designed. If you want to satisfy yourself before bolting it on, hold the part against the cooler — what you can see through it is what the air sees.

Fitment and Compatibility

Ducati Diavel V4, 2023 to 2026, on the original mounting points. Inspect the cooler for existing fin damage before fitting — a cover does not straighten what is already bent.

Road Approval

No ABE and no EC type-approval is published by Fullsix. This is a protective and cosmetic cover that does not alter cooling; confirm the position for your registration before road use.

Check It After Winter

An oil cooler in this position collects road salt in its lower corners, and a carbon cover changes what you can see rather than what accumulates. Make a habit of taking it off once a year — it is four fasteners — and rinsing the cooler frame behind it properly.

A cover that hides corrosion is worse than no cover at all, and this is the one part in the range where that risk is real rather than theoretical. Ten minutes each spring keeps it an asset.
