DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Yamaha Tracer 7 GT arrives with side cases, a taller screen and a comfier seat, and plenty of owners use those cases every day: a laptop on one side, the shopping on the other. For a GT that works as a daily vehicle, Accossato offers front pad AGPA97 in the Organic (OR) compound, listed for the Tracer 7 GT from 2021 to 2026. OR is built around quiet, gentle stopping and long disc life, which fits a machine that clocks up steady distance in ordinary traffic.
Key Features
- Accossato AGPA97 front pad, Organic (OR) compound
- Catalogued for the Yamaha Tracer 7 GT, 2021-2026
- Accossato: longer performance with limited disc wear
- Smooth bite on short trips when the brakes are cool
- Keeps noise down in slow traffic
- Two pads per box, one caliper
- Other compounds of AGPA97: ST, EV1, EV2, ZXC
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of Organic fits in one line: it keeps working for a long time and limits disc wear. On a GT that serves as a year-round workhorse, those are exactly the qualities that keep ownership costs predictable. The company's general statements about its pads, slow wear, fade kept low by limiting heat and high stopping power, are passed on here as Accossato's claims rather than results from our own testing.
A GT as Daily Transport
With its cases fitted, a Tracer 7 GT carries a surprising amount, and it replaces a car for many owners. Daily riding means frequent, gentle stops with brakes that rarely get hot, where a compound that responds naturally from cold is more useful than one that needs warming. The cases also add weight high up on the bike, so a smooth, progressive front brake helps keep the chassis calm when slowing in town. OR is designed for that routine. For long summer tours two-up, ST is the steadier option; EV1 suits solo rides in the hills.
Swap Day
Change the pads in both front calipers together. Before pushing the pistons back, clean them with brake cleaner and a soft brush, then fit the new pads and bed them in with a handful of gentle, gradually firmer stops.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list gives AGPA97 for the TRACER 7 700 GT with the years 2021 to 2026. The GT has two front calipers, one per disc, so a complete front change needs two boxes. For the rear, Accossato lists AGPP88 for 2021 to 2024.
Road Approval
AGPA97OR has no ABE and there is no test documentation with us, so it is supplied for competition purposes.
Scope of Delivery
Two Organic (OR) front pads, AGPA97, in one box, for a single caliper on the Tracer 7 GT.
