DescriptionThe whole story▼
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 has been built in several versions from 2013 to 2025, and many of them spend their lives as stylish everyday bikes. This front pad set in Organic (OR) compound is meant for that owner: daily commutes, city riding, short evening rides and cold starts, with a smooth bite and a disc that should last.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) front pads for the Brutale 800 family
- Covers 2013 to 2025, depending on version
- Accossato highlights long performance and low disc wear
- Smooth, progressive feel in stop-and-go traffic
- Quiet operation around town
- Two pads per box, one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says that its Organic mixture provides longer performance while limiting wear on the disc. It is the calm, durable member of the range. The maker's general aims, pads that last, that resist fade by keeping temperatures under control, and that stop firmly, apply here with an everyday bias. On a three-cylinder naked that is often used in town, that makes a sensible choice.
City Miles on the Brutale 800
A Brutale 800 in the city spends its time braking from low speed: traffic lights, zebra crossings, roundabouts, delivery vans stopping suddenly. What matters there is a front brake that responds gently and predictably from cold, without squeal, and without eating the disc. The Organic pad was chosen with that routine in mind. It is also a good fit for riders who have only recently stepped up to a bike of this size. Riders wanting a different character can pick the same pad as ST, EV1, EV2 or ZXC.
Workshop Tips
Change the pads in both front calipers at the same time. Before retracting the pistons, clean them. Check disc thickness and the state of the fluid, then pump the lever until you feel firm pressure. Bed the pads in with a series of moderate stops from town speed before relying on them fully.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list for this front pad follows the model's history. The first Brutale 800 arrived in 2013 and stayed in the range until 2020. The short-tailed Dragster joined in 2015 and ran to 2019, with its sportier Dragster RC edition following from 2017 and still listed up to 2025. A Brutale 800 RC was offered between 2018 and 2020, and the Rosso took over in 2020, again listed to 2025. All of them share this front pad. At the back, the rear caliper takes AGPA42. Because the front brake uses a pair of calipers, you will need two boxes to renew it completely.
Road Approval
We do not have an ABE, test mark or other approval certificate for these pads. They are sold for use in racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
Two organic pads in a box, enough for one front caliper. Hardware is not included.
