DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki SV650X is the café-styled version of the SV650, with clip-on bars, a V-twin engine and a riding position that leans the rider a little further over the tank. For SV650X machines built from 2019 to 2024, Accossato lists the AGPA75 front pad, and this listing is the Organic mixture. It is meant for owners who ride to work, cross town on weekdays and want a front brake that stays calm, quiet and kind to the discs.

Key Features

  • Front pad AGPA75 for the Suzuki SV650X, model years 2019 to 2024
  • Organic compound, article number AGPA75OR
  • Accossato promises long service and limited disc wear
  • Soft, predictable bite for stop-and-go traffic
  • Low noise in town and on the commute
  • Two pads per box, one caliper's worth
  • No ABE on file; sold for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes its Organic mixture as a compound that keeps working for a long time while limiting wear on the brake disc. That is the whole promise, and it is a practical one: fewer disc changes, a pad that ages slowly and a lever that feels the same in the first week as in the tenth. The Piedmont company, founded in Moncalieri near Turin in 1969, also points to modest heat build-up, which keeps fade in check, and to solid stopping power.

Commuting on a Café Racer

An SV650X spends much of its life doing ordinary things: rolling through junctions, queuing at lights, pulling up outside the office. Those short, cold stops are where an Organic pad feels at home. It bites gently from the first touch, without the grabby edge that can unsettle a bike with clip-ons at walking pace, and it tends to stay quiet when the discs are still cold. Riders who use their SV650X every day and care more about smoothness and low running costs than about lap times will find this the relaxed choice on the AGPA75 plate.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato assigns AGPA75 to the front of the SV650X for the years 2019 to 2024, listed as SV 650 X. The SV650X runs two front calipers, so a full front change takes two boxes. The 2018 bikes use a different pair, AGPA95 on the left and AGPA94 on the right, while AGPP185 covers the rear from 2018 to 2024. The same plate is also sold as ST, EV1 and EV2. Replace pads on both sides of the axle at the same time and bed them in with a few gentle stops.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or German test certificate for AGPA75OR. The pads are therefore offered for racing and competition purposes.

Scope of Delivery
