  • ZF9.4, ZF12.5, ZF9.8 and ZF13.0 versions, per Accossato
  • EV2 racing compound

  • Built for heavy braking at the end of straights
  • Other compounds for this pad: OR, ST, EV1, ZXC
  • Two pads for one caliper

Construction and Material Quality

EV2 is Accossato's top racing compound. It is formulated for competition, where the pads reach high temperatures and are used at the limit in every braking zone. The maker states that its pads limit heat build-up and wear slowly, supporting consistent performance over a session. On a cold road, the racing character means EV2 feels different from a street pad, so this version belongs on a bike that is used on track.

Finding the Marker, Lap After Lap

On a circuit, every lap is about finding the right braking marker and hitting it consistently. With EV2 pads on the Zero S, the brake is designed to deliver the same stopping power at the end of the tenth lap as on the second. Fit fresh pads before the event and bed them in during the first practice session. Check the pads and disc between sessions, and keep a close eye on brake fluid, which suffers from heat long before the pads. After the event, inspect the calipers and replace the fluid if it has darkened.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front of the Zero S ZF9.4 and ZF12.5 of 2015 and the ZF9.8 and ZF13.0 of 2016 and 2017. For the 2024 S ZF14.4 the front pad is AGPA96. Rear pads for the S are AGPP91. Replace both front pads together and pump the lever until the pressure is firm before leaving the pit.

Road Approval

We have not been provided with an ABE or test certificate for these pads, so they are offered for racing and competition only.

Scope of Delivery
