DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Accossato 10.5 mm axial clutch master cylinder completes the smaller end of this offroad-focused pairing, giving lighter motorcycles, scooters and pitbikes a compact clutch pump with its reservoir built into the body. As with its 13.5 mm sibling, the pump body is nickel-plated and the reservoir cap and lever are black, and the smaller piston suits machines where a lighter lever pull matters more than outright clamping force.

Key Features

  • 10.5 mm piston diameter, axial design for offroad motorcycles, scooters and pitbikes
  • Integrated fluid reservoir built into the master cylinder body
  • Nickel-plated pump body with a black reservoir cap and lever
  • CNC machined from billet aluminium
  • Offset clamp in zinc-plated steel
  • M10x1 hose connection thread

Construction and Material Quality

This clutch master cylinder shares its 10.5 mm piston with the smaller axial brake unit but keeps the clutch-side hardware: a zinc-plated steel clamp, offset within the mount, and a body CNC machined from aluminium billet before nickel plating. The reservoir cap and lever stay black, and the hose connection uses the familiar M10x1 thread. Keeping the reservoir cast into the body rather than bolted on separately helps the unit stay narrow on the tight handlebars typical of pitbikes and the smallest offroad machines, where there is little room to spare around the grips.

Matching the Smaller Piston to Lighter Bikes

A 10.5 mm piston is the lighter of the two choices in Accossato's axial clutch pairing, generally asking for less hand force at the lever for any given amount of fluid moved, which suits scooters and pitbikes where riders may prefer the softest possible pull over outright bite. The reservoir built into the casting still gives the system the room it needs for fluid expansion, without adding a separate tank to an already narrow offroad handlebar. For riders coming from a cable clutch, the switch to this hydraulic pump also removes routine cable adjustment and lubrication from the maintenance list.

Fitment and Compatibility

No vehicle list exists for this clutch master cylinder from Accossato, and none is recorded in our own fitment data either; it is supplied as a universal 10.5 mm axial clutch pump for a 22 mm handlebar clamp diameter. Before ordering, check that your handlebar clamp is 22 mm and that your clutch hydraulics are designed around a 10.5 mm axial piston with an integrated reservoir.

Road Approval

This clutch master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery
