With nothing else listed for this model, the thing worth comparing against is the part already in the airbox. A paper panel is a consumable that does its job and is then thrown away; it cannot be washed, because washing destroys it, and it cannot be inspected usefully either, since by the time you have it in your hands you have usually already bought its successor.
