Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once. Spacers are machined rather than cut, so the ends are square and the load is even.

Why the Original

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 21617-14. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21617-14

Category: Spacers

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21617-14_20cbf1c1-8377-42fe-b476-38f6b0857570.png?v=1788877222
