Function
Dimensionally this is 36 mm, 110 mm, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. Wall thickness and bore finish are what let a cylinder hold pressure without deforming under load. Length here is the working length, not the overall dimension, which is why two similar tubes are not interchangeable. The tube also carries the end cap threads, so thread damage means a new tube.
