DescriptionThe whole story▼

Riders who tour on a Kawasaki Z650RS, carry a passenger or ride through wet winters need a rear brake that behaves the same way in every condition. Accossato's AGPP88 rear pads in the Sintered (ST) compound are listed for the Z650RS from 2022 to 2026. The sintered mix gives a firm, repeatable response at the pedal, which helps keep a loaded retro roadster calm on a rainy descent or a gravel-strewn back road.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) compound for the rear brake
  • Kawasaki Z650RS, 2022 to 2026
  • Constant grip across temperatures, per Accossato
  • Works well on a wet disc
  • Suits pillion riding and touring
  • Two pads per box for the rear caliper
  • Organic (OR) option in the same shape

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes the sintered compound as keeping a high and constant grip level at both low and high temperatures, with good wet performance. For the rear of a Z650RS carrying a passenger or luggage, that consistency makes it easier to use the brake with confidence. The company also designs its pads for long life, low wear and limited heat build-up.

Rain on the Way Home

Many trips end in rain, and a wet ride home on a loaded Z650RS is where a sintered rear pad shows its worth. With a passenger aboard, the rear brake takes a bigger share of the work, and a steady pedal keeps the bike stable as you slow for a roundabout or a wet junction. Check the rear reservoir before a longer trip, and after a season of rain and road grime, clean the caliper and look for uneven wear on the pads. If one pad is noticeably thinner than the other, the caliper may not be sliding freely, and that is worth sorting out before the new set goes in.

Fitment and Compatibility

These rear pads are listed for the Kawasaki Z650RS from 2022 to 2026 (Accossato entry Z 650 RS 2022-2026). One box equips the rear caliper. Accossato's front pad for the bike is the AGPA72, and the DK236 disc is also listed. The AGPP88 is offered in Organic (OR) as well. Clean the piston before pushing it back for the new pads.

Road Approval

In the absence of an ABE or test mark, we offer these pads for racing and competition use.

Scope of Delivery
