DescriptionThe whole story▼
Swapping the standard instrument cluster of a Yamaha YZF-R3, built from 2015, for an Ecumaster ADU5 data logger leaves the rider with a new dashboard and nowhere obvious on the front subframe to put it. Melotti Racing's CNC aluminium bracket was made to solve exactly that, mounting the ADU5 where the YZF-R3's own instrument used to sit.

- CNC-machined from aluminium
- Fits to the front subframe in place of the original instrument
- Can be used on its own
- Can also be combined with Melotti's Impact Absorber for extra dashboard protection
- Black finish
Construction and Material Quality
Melotti machines the DS.YA.EC on CNC equipment from aluminium, built specifically to carry the shape and fixing points of an Ecumaster ADU5 unit where the YZF-R3's stock dashboard used to sit on the front subframe. It is offered in two versions, labelled V.1 and V.2 in Melotti's own range; we confirm with you which one matches your dash and mounting setup before an order ships, rather than guessing from the part number alone. On its own, the bracket simply holds the ADU5 in place; paired with Melotti's own Impact Absorber, the same mounting point gains the elastic protection that absorber adds against vibration and knocks.
A Bracket for Riders Who Log Their Laps
Fitting an Ecumaster ADU5 to a YZF-R3 usually means a rider is already past the basic prep stage and into the part of a build focused on data: lap times, sector splits, the kind of information a stock dashboard was never built to show. Once that decision is made, the bracket is the unglamorous but necessary step that makes it physically possible, giving the new unit a mounting point as solid as the one it replaces. Because the subframe location is shared with the stock dashboard, nothing else on the front end of the bike has to change to accommodate it.
Fitment and Compatibility
Melotti lists the DS.YA.EC for the Yamaha YZF-R3 from 2015 onward, matching our listing, and confirms it is available in two versions without detailing the difference between them in its own documentation; tell us your ADU5 model when ordering so we can confirm the right one. It is not listed by Melotti for the Yamaha YZF-R25. It combines naturally with the Impact Absorber, AIS valve cover and brake fluid reservoir guard also offered for this YZF-R3.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE for the DS.YA.EC. A race-logging dashboard mount of this kind is supplied for racetrack and closed-circuit use rather than for road registration.
Scope of Delivery
