The rear of a CB1000RA is defined by what hangs off it. LighTech's FRE926NER is a pair of machined aluminium turn signals carrying E8 approval. LighTech intends it to be combined with its own plate holders on the CB1000RA.

The Cheapest Visible Change
Changing the indicators is the cheapest visible change there is. The FRE926NER is an E8-approved pair that can go on the front or the rear. A stock item rather than a special order.
LEDs and Your Flasher
LED indicators bring one complication with them. LighTech states that some motorcycles need a specific relay or resistor. An LED draws too little current for a standard flasher on the CB1000RA, which then blinks at double speed. LighTech's advice is to contact specialised personnel for the assembly of the FRE926NER.
Fitment and Compatibility
Fitment is the CB1000RA across 2008 to 2017. It is the mount, not the model, that determines whether it bolts up. Have FRE926NER and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.

LighTech ships the FRE926NER as a pair, not singly. A second pair is needed if you are changing front and rear.
In the Workshop
Installation is wiring work rather than mechanical work. Test all functions with the ignition on before the first ride. Removal takes as long as fitting did.
Type Approval
E8 approval applies to the FRE926NER itself. A component approval says nothing about where the part may sit on the motorcycle — that is national law. We would rather you asked your inspection body than discovered it at the next test.
