DescriptionThe whole story▼
Parking a TUONO V4 1100 badly costs a clutch lever more often than anything else. The ISS201LT is the mirror of the brake-side guard, built for the TUONO V4 1100 clutch lever. The guard body is fixed; only the bushes vary, in 7 colours. The 1077 cc TUONO V4 1100 takes it on the standard bar with the matching adapter.
Key Features
- 7 bush colours, all at the same price
- LighTech part number ISS201LT, catalogued for the Aprilia TUONO V4 1100
- GC-Tech polymer filled with carbon and graphite — exceeds aluminium's strength at 39.6 g
- Made in Italy
- Same geometry as the brake side, so the TUONO V4 1100 can run a matched pair
- Mounts at the bar end, where the TUONO V4 1100 has the clearance for it
Worth Protecting Anyway
Most TUONO V4 1100 levers that get replaced are clutch levers, not brake levers. The ISS201LT takes the contact so the lever and the perch do not. It is the brake-side part, mirrored for the left bar of the TUONO V4 1100.
Compatibility and Installation
Catalogued by LighTech for the TUONO V4 1100 and nothing else in this listing. Fitting needs the correct adapter for the TUONO V4 1100 — see the note below.
In the Workshop
The ISS201LT goes on with the TUONO V4 1100 on its stand and nothing dismantled. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride, as with anything at the bar end. Instructions are in the box; the TUONO V4 1100 needs no modification.
Scope of Delivery
LighTech sells the ISS201LT individually, not as a left-and-right set. Bushes are part of the guard; the adapter for the TUONO V4 1100 is the value chosen under “Adapter”. The ISS201LT number is the only thing to quote for a repeat order.
The Adapter Option
LighTech makes the guard and its mount as two parts; here they come in one order. It mounts to the TUONO V4 1100 through a bar-specific adapter, because handlebar internal diameters differ between models. The part number you need alongside it is KPL313 (2021-2026) or KPL340 (2026), by model year. Under “Adapter” you will find each of them; the preselected “With Adapter KPL313 (2021-2026)” suits most, but the model year of the TUONO V4 1100 decides. Pick “Without Adapter” only if the TUONO V4 1100 already carries its adapter.
Regulations and Road Use
Clutch lever guards are rarely mandated, which does not make them pointless. No approval document comes with the ISS201LT. Track and paddock use raise no question.
