DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 071 PAIR system eliminator cover finishes off a PAIR removal on the Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 (2026) with CNC-machined aluminium plates in place of the original covers, plus an aluminium plug that closes the hole left in the airbox.
Key Features
- Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 (2026)
- CNC-machined aluminium plates replace the factory PAIR covers
- Aluminium plug seals the hole the PAIR system leaves in the airbox
- Finishes the PAIR removal with a clean, closed-off appearance
- Machined parts rather than generic blanking plates
Covering What Removal Leaves Behind
Taking the PAIR system off a bike leaves two things open: the covers where its components used to sit, and a hole in the airbox where its intake connected. This part addresses both at once.
CNC-Machined Plates, Not Stock Covers
In place of the original PAIR covers, this kit fits aluminium plates that are CNC-machined rather than cast, matching the factory mounting points while closing off the area cleanly.
Sealing the Airbox Properly
The airbox itself has a hole where the PAIR intake fed in, and an aluminium plug closes that opening, so the airbox seals properly rather than drawing air through an unintended gap.
A Finishing Part for a PAIR Delete
Riders removing the PAIR system from the Hypermotard V2 890, for example alongside the JP ES 007 solenoid eliminator, use this cover to tidy up what the removal leaves open rather than running with exposed fittings.
Machined to Match the Factory Layout
Because the plates and plug are machined to the Hypermotard V2 890's own PAIR cover and airbox dimensions, they install in the factory locations without cutting or improvising a fit.
