DescriptionThe whole story▼

Weather does not always cooperate, and riders who take the KTM RC4R 250 out in every season want a rear brake that ignores the forecast. Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad in its Sintered mixture fits the RC4R 250 of model year 2020. It is intended for owners who ride in rain and cold, sometimes carry a passenger, and want the rear pedal to respond the same way on a frosty morning as on a hot afternoon.

Key Features

  • Rear pads AGPP91 for the KTM RC4R 250, 2020
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPP91ST
  • Accossato claims high, constant grip across the temperature range
  • Grips well when the road is wet
  • Consistent pedal with extra weight aboard
  • A pad for the whole year
  • Rear plate also made as OR and STMX
  • No ABE on file with us; for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

According to Accossato, this compound holds a high and uniform grip level whether it is cold or hot, and it performs well on wet roads. For the rear of a small bike ridden in changing weather, that uniformity is what lets the rider use the pedal without second-guessing it. The company also claims reduced fade from limited heat build-up, and slow wear. The layer is bonded to the standard AGPP91 plate.

Rain, Cold and a Passenger

When the road is wet, careful riders share the slowing between both wheels and lean a little more on the rear. With a passenger, weight moves backwards and the rear can do even more. Both techniques rely on a pedal that responds predictably from the first press, without needing heat. The steady mixture on the RC4R 250 offers that, and it keeps the same feel when a long downhill run warms the rear disc.

Salt and grime from winter roads attack the caliper, so rinse the rear brake after messy rides. Check the pads at least every season and change the fluid at the recommended interval.

Fitment and Compatibility

In Accossato's catalogue AGPP91 is the rear pad for the KTM RC4R 250 of 2020. The front of the same bike takes AGPA96, listed under RC 250 4R, and no disc is catalogued. Hold the old pads against the new ones before installation.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or approval certificate for AGPP91ST. The pads are sold for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered rear pads in one box.
