DescriptionThe whole story▼

Downhill ruts after rain, a cold first practice at eight in the morning, a water splash halfway round the lap: the rear brake of a motocross bike is exposed to it all. Accossato's AGPP106 rear pad in the Sintered mixture fits the Kawasaki KX450 from 2019 to 2026. It is meant for riders who use the back brake hard in all weathers and want the pedal to respond the same way whatever the conditions.

Key Features

  • Rear pads AGPP106 for the Kawasaki KX450, 2019 to 2026
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPP106ST
  • Accossato: high, stable grip hot or cold
  • Keeps working after water crossings
  • Predictable pedal on steep descents
  • Also produced as OR and STMX
  • No ABE on file; for racing

Construction and Material Quality

Stable friction across temperatures and dependable grip in the wet are the two points Accossato highlights for this recipe. On the back of a KX450 that races through autumn and spring, that promise matters most on the first lap, when the rear disc is cold and often wet. Accossato designs its pads to limit heat and fade and to stop strongly. The sintered block is bonded to the standard AGPP106 plate.

Rear Control on a Wet Hillside

Steep, slippery descents are where the rear brake earns its keep. The rider needs to trail it gently to keep the bike straight without locking the wheel. A pad that grips consistently on a wet disc makes that fine control possible, and the Sintered set is Accossato's choice for exactly such days.

Water and grit shorten the life of any rear pad. After a wet event, clean the caliper, check that the pads move freely on their slide and look at the disc for grooves. On a KX450 raced every weekend, measure the pad thickness at least once a month and replace both pads together.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues AGPP106 for the rear of the Kawasaki KX450 from 2019 to 2026. The front uses AGPA51 for 2019 to 2023 and AGPA29 for 2024 to 2026. The Accossato disc for this machine is DK060. A box holds the pair for the single rear caliper; compare the pad outline first.

Road Approval

AGPP106ST is not backed by an ABE or German approval paper we could supply. It is intended for motorsport.

Scope of Delivery
