DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's AGPA76 rear pad has a long entry for the Triumph Speed Twin 900: model years 2016 to 2025. Across that span, the bike has been a favourite for relaxed riding, and its rear brake is used mostly for gentle stops and slow-speed control. This box holds the AGPA76 in the Organic (OR) compound, which suits riders who want a quiet, smooth rear brake that bites well from cold and does not wear the disc more than necessary.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) rear pads, article AGPA76OR
- For the Triumph Speed Twin 900, 2016 to 2025
- For relaxed riding and slow-speed control
- Accossato claims long life and reduced disc wear
- Two pads per box, one rear caliper
- Also sold as ST
Construction and Material Quality
This is the organic version of the AGPA76, which Accossato offers in two compounds. The maker points to performance that lasts and to lower disc wear. On a relaxed twin, where the rear brake is used lightly and often, a long-lasting, disc-friendly pad keeps maintenance simple. Organic material also responds promptly without heat.
Low-speed Confidence
Tight U-turns, slow queues and parking manoeuvres are where the Speed Twin 900's rear brake earns its keep. Controlling the bike at walking pace with a little throttle, a slipping clutch and gentle rear brake is a skill that pays off in town. A soft, predictable organic pad makes it easier. Check the rear pads every few months, especially on bikes that are used daily, and make sure the pedal returns cleanly after each use. If it feels sticky, clean and lubricate the pedal pivot. Over the long production run covered here, some Speed Twin 900 bikes will have spent years parked outdoors, so look at the rear caliper slides and the dust seals too; a pad can only work smoothly if it is free to move. A new set of organic pads bedded in over a quiet afternoon ride restores the gentle, even response the bike had when new.
Fitment and Compatibility
On the Triumph Speed Twin 900, this rear pad appears in Accossato's list for every year from 2016 to 2025. One rear caliper means one box. The front pad Accossato names for the 2019 to 2024 bikes is the AGPA112. The AGPA76 is also available with a Sintered compound.
Road Approval
No German ABE or road certificate is on file for this pad. We sell it for circuit and competition use.
