Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 01046-26 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01046-26

Category: Screws

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01046-26_047f33c1-5e1a-4282-9c2a-1d48f1935986.png?v=1788873033
