DescriptionThe whole story▼
2023 was the final model year for the Tracer 900 before Yamaha moved the nameplate on, and this Accossato kit covers that last version with five braided hoses following the factory's Standard-layout routing. Built on the MT-09's triple-cylinder platform with long-distance gear added, the Tracer 900 asks more of its brakes than the naked bike it shares an engine with, and braided line keeps the lever response consistent once the bike is loaded for a longer trip. Many owners holding onto the final-year Tracer 900 plan to keep it for years rather than trade up immediately, which makes a durable braided upgrade worth the investment.
Key Features
- Five-hose set for the 2023 Tracer 900
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings, the only finish offered for this part
- Keeps the factory Standard-layout routing
- Each hose finished and packaged as part of this one kit
Construction and Material Quality
Each of the five hoses pairs a stainless braid sheath with fittings made from stainless steel, supplied only bare on this part. The twenty-colour braid range gives plenty of choice for a bike that, in its final year, is often kept for years afterward rather than traded in quickly.
The Last of This Generation
Accossato lists the 2023 bike separately from the earlier Tracer 900 generations because of small differences in hose routing between model years; this five-hose count matches what the 2023 bike needs, which differs from both the earlier ABS 2017–2020 version and the original 2015–2016 model.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha Tracer 900 built in 2023, and the same part also covers the Tracer 900 GT of that year. For the 2017–2020 Tracer 900 and GT, Accossato lists a seven-hose kit, part AGF9019, and for the 2015–2016 original, a six-hose kit, part AGF9777. Because 2023 was a short production run before the model changed again, confirming the exact build year against Accossato's fitment tab is worth doing before ordering.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 5 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
