DescriptionThe whole story▼
The H2R is track-only, supercharged and makes 310 hp. The JP PD KA034 replaces its right-hand switch with machined Ergal on a universal clamp pattern.

Three Hundred and Ten Horsepower
The H2R has no lights, no mirrors, no number plate and no legal way onto a public road. It has carbon winglets, a titanium exhaust and a supercharger running considerably more boost than the road bike's. Kawasaki built it to demonstrate what the engine could do without any regulatory ceiling at all.
Why a Track-Only Bike Has Road Switchgear
Because it is built on the road H2's architecture, and Kawasaki saw no reason to design a separate handlebar assembly for a motorcycle produced in small numbers. The result is a 310 hp machine whose switch cluster came from the same parts bin as the rest of the range.
Finding a Button at That Speed
The H2R has been ridden past 380 km/h in controlled conditions. At any appreciable fraction of that, taking a hand off the bar is a considered act, and the control has to be found on the first attempt. A machined perimeter gives the thumb a physical boundary; a worn moulding gives it a guess.
What Owners of These Do
H2Rs are bought by collectors and by people with access to circuits, and both groups look after them meticulously. Cockpit components tend to be upgraded not because they have failed but because the standard part looks ordinary on an extraordinary motorcycle.
Universal Clamp Pattern
Both bolt geometries are accepted, which on a bike likely to be running an aftermarket brake package removes one more thing to check before ordering.
