DescriptionThe whole story▼
Fitted to the MV Agusta F3 800 (2021–2022), the JP ACCGP MV002 cuts the ride-by-wire throttle's rotation down to sixty degrees, housed in a block of milled 7075 Ergal, so the fully-faired supersport's triple keeps exactly the fuelling it left the factory with while the hand covers noticeably less ground to reach it.
Key Features
- MV Agusta F3 800 (2021–2022)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
Reversible From the First Bolt
Everything about the fit is designed to come back off cleanly: the stock bar clamp, switch cluster and wiring are left untouched, so refitting the factory F3 throttle later takes no more effort than the original installation did, with nothing permanently altered along the way.
Where Sixty Degrees Matters Most
On a fully-faired supersport like the F3 800, the rider's wrist is already extended by the reach to the clip-ons, and cutting the throttle's rotation to sixty degrees gives back some of the travel that posture otherwise uses up on every single input.
A Reset the Electronics Need
Once the new throttle is bolted on, a short diagnostic procedure teaches the ride-by-wire control unit the sensor's updated range; without it, the idle can sit slightly uneven even though the opening and closing both work exactly as intended from the very first ride.
A Triple Built for the Track
The F3 800's engine is tuned with circuit riding clearly in mind, and the precision a shorter throttle rotation adds tends to show up most on corner exit, where small, deliberate inputs matter more than one broad sweep of the wrist.
Milled, Not Cast
Machining the housing from a solid billet of Ergal rather than casting it keeps the lever's action from loosening over a season of hard use, the kind of wear a track-ridden supersport puts through its controls far faster than a road bike does.
Switchgear Left Exactly Where It Was
Nothing about the F3's horn, indicator or mode switches needs to move for the new throttle body to bolt on, which keeps the whole job a straightforward swap rather than a rewiring exercise for the workshop or a confident owner at home.
