DescriptionThe whole story▼
Straight from the Moto2 World Championship, the Brembo Racing Moto2 "20-23" Monoblock Brake Caliper Right 108mm (XA8D1E1) delivers the kind of stopping power, modulation and thermal resilience that separates podium finishers from the pack. This is a purpose-built racing caliper — engineered to perform at the absolute limit, lap after lap.
Key Features
- CNC-machined monoblock body eliminates flex entirely, producing a direct, consistent brake feel that racing riders depend on at corner entry
- Four titanium pistons (2x 34 mm and 2x 38 mm) manage heat transfer far more efficiently than steel, maintaining stable braking performance even under repeated hard stops
- Nickel-plated surface provides corrosion resistance and the unmistakable race-grade finish associated with Moto2-spec hardware
- 30 mm pad track width maximises braking surface contact, extracting the highest possible deceleration from every brake pad compound
- Central bridge design adds torsional rigidity, translating lever pressure directly into caliper clamping force without energy loss
- Offset of 22.5 mm ensures precise fitment geometry on compatible racing fork configurations
Developed and Proven in Moto2 Competition
The XA8D1E1 is not a road caliper adapted for track use — it was conceived, tested and refined exclusively for closed-circuit racing. The monoblock architecture means the caliper is machined from a single billet of aluminium, leaving no two-piece joint to introduce compliance under load. Paired with the titanium piston set, the result is a brake system that responds identically whether it is the first braking zone of a race or the last.
The nickel-plated finish is not merely cosmetic. On a racing motorcycle exposed to carbon brake dust, tyre debris and aggressive cleaning chemicals, corrosion resistance is a practical requirement that directly affects caliper longevity across a full season of competition.
Race-Only Application — Important Notes
This caliper is designed exclusively for motorsport use and is not approved or suitable for road or public highway use. It requires a fork with a 108 mm mounting hole spacing — verify your fork specification before ordering. Brake pads are not included and must be ordered separately.
